About Sacsterdam
Located in Sacramento, the Sacsterdam Medical Cannabis Collective is a private, compassionate, safe and dependable source of medicinal cannabis for people suffering from ailments for which cannabis has been shown to be effective.
The Sacsterdam Collective is a regulated, safe, community-based group, providing care to qualified member-patients in strict accordance with Prop. 215, SB420, California Health and Safety Code 11362.5, the August 2008 guidelines submitted by California Attorney General Edmund J. Brown and the Judicial Authority specified in People v. Urziceanu ((2005) 132Cal.App. 4th 747, 33 Cal.Rptr.2d 859, 881.).
The Cannabis Collective has been in operation since June of 2006 as Vail Communications, LLC (a California Limited Liability Company). In light of the recent legislative changes, we decided to change our public image, and began doing business under the DBAs: Sacsterdam Medical Cannabis Collective, Sacsterdam University and Sacsterdam Labs.
Sacsterdam provides a number of significant benefits to the community including:
- access and relief for the chronically ill and injured patient
- safe and Affordable access for patients
- discouraging the illicit market and associated drug cartels
- improving the health of patients through social support
- helping patients with other social services, such as food and housing
- maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction
Sacsterdam’s operations combat crime because:
- dispensary security personnel discourage loitering, pan-handling; and reduce crime in the vicinity
- street sales tend to decrease
- patients and operators are vigilant
- Sacsterdam has actively cultivated an ongoing, supportive relationship with law enforcement, and any criminal activity in or near it’s facility will be videotaped and reported
Sacsterdam’s Medical Cannabis Collective is:
